Pendower Class - Year 3 & 4

Pendower Class (Y3 / Y4)

Welcome to the Pendower Class page. We are named after the stunning Pendower Beach which lies just along the coastline from the village of Gerrans. We consist of children in lower Key Stage 2 (years 3 and 4). 
 
Our class teacher is Mrs Husband who has taught at primary level and in Montessori pre-school settings in Cornwall and New Zealand. Ms Lancaster (a TA) also supports us in our learning. 
 
Some useful information:
-Spellings are distributed on a half-termly basis and tested on a weekly basis (on a Friday). 
-Reading records are collected every Monday for our Karate Read Count.
-PE is taught on a Tuesday and/ or Wednesday however, we request that PE kits remain in school all week.

Knowledge Organisers
 
Knowledge organisers outline key learning for a unit or block of work. They are used by the children in lessons and provide support as they acquire new knowledge and skills. Parents may find these useful as they enable you to be familiar with what is being learnt and taught at school.
